The Alexandre Mouton House (also known as the Lafayette Museum) is located in the heart of downtown Lafayette. The original structure was built in the 1800s by the founder of Vermilionville, Jean Mouton. The house later became home to Louisiana’s 12th governor, Alexandre Mouton. Another great option is the Lafayette Ballet Theatre. Guests can enjoy a performance of Cinderella on March 31 from 7-9 pm, held at the Heyman Performing Arts Center in Lafayette.
