); ?>Roberts Cove Germanfest will take place on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday October 2, 2011. This fun event is held just five minutes from MaisonD’Memoire! Visitors can look forward to:
Alpenfest Band, German Costumes, Folklore Presentation, Roberts Cove Germanfest Folk Dancers, Antique Farm Equipment & Rice Threshing, Kinder Auftrit (children singing & dancing), German food such as sauerkraut, wurst (sausage), kartoffel (potatoes), zucker platzchen (sugar cookies), and both imported and domestic beers, just to name a few.
My personal favorite is the potato stew. Visitors can also enjoy the German Heritage Museum, Gift Shop, Kinderland Games & Activities, Blacksmith Association Demonstrations and more. Check out the schedule of events to find out more information!
