8. Celebrate Crawfish Season
Here in the Rayne region of Louisiana, we love our crawfish! Each spring, these tasty freshwater crustaceans come into season and our guests look forward to savoring some fresh local dishes. To celebrate this special time, the Crawfish Festival is held on the first weekend of each May in Breaux Bridge. Hear lots of live Cajun music and of course, eat lots of fresh crawfish!
